Location & Parking: Parking at the end of Sawmill Road at the Sassafras Trailhead (near 18 Sawmill Rd if using GPS).
Directions: Take North Hill Rd off of Tyngsborough Rd. Turn right onto Hidden Valley Rd. then take left onto Sawmill Rd.
Trail Description: Take an enjoyable summer walk on the Sassafras Trail, led by Westford Conservation Trust Director Gerry DiBello. The trail is a bit rugged and steep in places. Wear sturdy footwear appropriate to the weather. We will stop at the glacial erratics known as “House” and “Barn” on land that was recently acquired by the Town. Bring hiking poles if you like.
