Enjoy late fall and get outside! Grassy Pond is a lovely little wooded conservation area, owned by the Town since 1971 and managed by the Westford Conservation Commission. This nearly round, shallow pond may be a glacial kettle hole. It has no inlet or outlet, is fed by ground water, and occasionally dries up in late summer or fall.
Come join Trust President Rich Strazdas as we walk around the pond and also explore other areas such as the side trail to Nutting Rd. The trail is fairly level.
Walks are free of charge, no sign up required. Sociable dogs on leash are welcome.
